Blackjack is played with 6 standard decks of 52 cards with the Jokers removed. Players first place a bet anywhere from $0.01 to $100.
2x cards are then dealt to both the player and the dealer. The value of the cards are determined by their face value of 2 through 10, with all picture cards counting as 10 and an Ace counting as either 1 or 11. The total of any hand is the sum of all cards.
The aim is to have a higher total in the player's hand than the dealer's hand without exceeding a total value of 21. After the initial 2 cards are dealt to both player and dealer, the player can choose to either Hit, Stand, Double Down or Split depending on the outcome of the 2 cards in hand. This continues after each new card is dealt until the player either Busts (goes over 21) or stands.
When the player stands, the dealers turn to act. The dealer must act (pull a card) on a hand total of 16 or less and must stand on a 17 through to 21. If the dealer busts, the player wins.
Below are the conditions for each action type from the player:
Hit – Take another card. If your total exceeds 21, you bust and lose your bet. If your total is exactly 21, you automatically stand. Otherwise, you can hit again or stand.
Stand – Keep your current hand total and end your turn.
Double Down – Double your bet and receive exactly one more card, then automatically stand. Only available on your initial two-card hand.
Split – If dealt two cards of the same value, split them into two separate hands by placing an additional bet equal to your original bet. Each hand is then played independently. You can only split once per round.
The default theoretical Return to Player (RTP) is 99.47% and the maximum multiplier is 2.5x.
