Step 1: Set your bet amount
Configure your bet value anywhere from $1.00 to $200. You can increase or decrease your bet value by typing into the input field directly, or by doubling or halving the existing bet value by using the “x2” and “½” buttons. You can also use the “All In” button to quickly apply the max bet value of $200.
Step 2: Understand the betting markets
The game of HiLo by Astriona offers many different options to bet on when predicting the upcoming card. Below is a table with all the different options along with the winning odds for fixed odds markets. The maximum bet you can place on any given market is $200.
When betting on “Higher” or “Lower”, the odds are going to dynamically update depending on the previous face up card. For example, if the previous card was a 3, the probability of the next revealed card being higher are far greater than lower. Therefor, the odds for choosing “lower” will return a much larger win than “higher”
Step 3: Place your bets
To actually place a bet, first you need to select the market from the game page, which will then be highlighted with a green border. Then press the Bet button to commit the bet to that market.
You can then choose a different market to bet on within the same round by repeating the same process of first selecting the market, then pressing bet to commit. For multi-market betting within the same round you need to be fast, as each round has a 7 sec interval for betting.
You will be able to see your confirmed bet on the “Current Bets” panel to the left of the main game page. Here your bets will be listed as you commit them during the 7 second betting phase period.
Once the countdown completes, the card is revealed and winnings are awarded for any bets that favour the face up card. All winnings are immediately credited to your balance.

HiLo is a very simple game with very in depth strategy. Astriona have done a great job of bringing the card game to life in this virtual version of a classic card prediction game.
The animations and graphics are very clean and minimalistic, with an intuitive UI to show clear odds for all the various predictions players can make. Actually the UI itself is probably the most impressive part of this HiLo game. We’ve played many HiLo games and this one from Astriona is probably the most easy to navigate given how many different options you have for betting.
We do have suggestions for improvements however. For example, when placing multiple bets on a single round, you must first select the prediction and then press “Bet” to commit the bet for the round. There is no option to select multiple options and then press “Bet” to commit all your predictions at once. Given you only have 7 seconds between each round, it feels rushed when trying to place 3 or 4 bets on a single round. Also, it would be cool to be able to bet on suits such as spades, hearts or clubs.
Outside of this however, it's a lot of fun and a solid example of a great HiLo game!
