Classic Multihand Blackjack strips the game back to its purest form - no side bets, no surrender, just straightforward blackjack strategy across up to three simultaneous hands. Higher bet limits and the dealer hitting on soft 17 create a fast-paced, no-frills experience for players who prefer focused gameplay without additional betting complexity. Here's how it works:
Understanding Card Values
- Number cards (2-10): Worth their face value
- Face cards (Jack, Queen, King): Worth 10 points each
- Ace: Worth 1 or 11—whichever benefits your hand most
Deck Configuration: 8 standard decks of 52 cards are used per game.
Step 1: Place Your Bets
Use the chip selector to place bets on any or all of the 3 available boxes. You can play a single hand or all three simultaneously.
Bet limits:
- Maximum bet: $2,500 per box
- Maximum total bet: $7,500 across all 3 boxes
No side bets are available in this version.

Step 2: Deal the Cards
Once all bets are placed, deal the cards. Each active box receives 2 face-up cards. The dealer receives:
- 1 face-up card (visible to all players)
- 1 face-down card (hidden until dealer's turn)
Step 3: Insurance (If Dealer Shows an Ace)
If the dealer's face-up card is an Ace, you are offered Insurance before play continues:
- Insurance costs 50% of your original bet per hand
- The dealer checks their face-down card for Blackjack:
If the dealer has Blackjack:
- Insurance pays 2:1
- Your insurance win partially or fully offsets your main hand loss
If the dealer does not have Blackjack:
- Your insurance bet is lost
- The round continues as normal
Step 4: Evaluate Your Hands
Add up the card values for each active hand. Your goal is to reach as close to 21 as possible without busting (going over 21), while finishing closer to 21 than the dealer.
Step 5: Choose Your Action (Per Hand)
For each active box, select from the available moves:
Stand:
- Keep your current hand total as-is
- No additional cards drawn
- Move on to next hand or dealer's turn
Hit:
- Request an additional card to increase your total
- Continue hitting until you stand or bust
- Busting (exceeding 21) immediately loses that hand
Double Down:
- Available on any 2-card hand
- Doubles your bet on that hand
- You receive exactly 1 additional card then must stand
- Higher risk but greater payout potential
Split:
- Available when your first 2 cards are a matching pair
- Divides the pair into 2 separate hands, each receiving a second card
- Requires an additional bet equal to your original for the split hand
- Both hands are then played independently

Step 6: Dealer Reveals and Draws
Once all hands have stood or busted, the dealer reveals their face-down card and follows strict drawing rules:
- Must draw cards on any total of 16 or lower
- Must draw on a soft 17 (Ace counted as 11 with a total of 17)
- Must stand on a hard 17 or higher
- If the dealer exceeds 21, the dealer busts
Understanding Soft 17: A soft 17 is any hand containing an Ace counted as 11 that totals 17 (e.g. Ace + 6). The dealer must hit this hand rather than standing, which slightly increases the dealer's chance of improving their total. This is an important distinction from some other blackjack variants where the dealer stands on all 17s.
Step 7: Determine Outcomes
Each hand is evaluated independently against the dealer's final total:
Win: Your hand is closer to 21 than the dealer, or the dealer busts while your hand is active Loss: Your hand busts, or the dealer's total is closer to 21 than yours Push (Tie): Your hand and the dealer's total are equal—your original bet is returned
Standard Payouts:
- Blackjack (Ace + 10-value card on first 2 cards): 3:2
- Standard win: 1:1
- Insurance: 2:1 (if dealer has Blackjack)
- Push: Bet returned
The default theoretical Return to Player (RTP) is 99.4% and the maximum multiplier is 2.5x
Below are the key features of Classic Multihand Blackjack:
Tooltip: Turn on the tooltip to get recommended moves based on the evolving outcome of your hand throughout the round.
Turbo Mode: Dramatically increase the animation speed of each round by turning on Turbo Mode.
Rebet Mode: Quickly repeat your exact previous bet configuration by choosing “rebet” at the start of the round.
Double Down: If your first 2 cards are a 9,10 or 11 you can double the bet and take 1 more card only.
Split: The first 2 cards of equal rank can be split. This separates each card into 2 hands and places an additional bet equal to your original one on the second hand. You can not split again if you get 2 more equal cards.
Insurance: Pay a 50% premium on top of your stake when the dealer has a face up Ace to protect your bet against dealer Blackjack.
Play Multihand: Get dealt a hand in up to 3 boxes on the table at once.
