Blackjack is one of the most beloved casino table games in the world, combining simple rules with genuine strategic depth. Multihand Blackjack Pro by BGaming expands on the classic game with the added Bonus Bet feature - a side bet aiming for Jack pairs on the first deal. Here's how it works:
Understanding Card Values
Before playing, familiarise yourself with how cards are valued:
- Number cards (2-10): Worth their face value
- Face cards (Jack, Queen, King): Worth 10 points each
- Ace: Worth 1 or 11—whichever creates the better hand
Deck Configuration: 6 standard decks of 52 cards are used per game.
Step 1: Place Your Bets
Click on any of the 3 betting boxes on the table to place chips. You can:
- Play 1 box for a single hand
- Play 2 boxes for two simultaneous hands
- Play all 3 boxes for the full multihand experience
Each box requires its own independent bet.
Step 2: Deal the Cards
Press "Deal" when ready. Each active hand receives 2 face-up cards. The dealer receives:
- 1 face-up card (visible to you)
- 1 face-down card (hidden until later)
Step 3: Evaluate Your Hand
First there is a check on any bonus bets. The bonus bet wins if the first card in the players hand is a jack or if the first 2 cards in the players hand is a pair of jacks. The bonus bet is lost if the first card in the players hand is not a jack. The bonus bet pays according to the paytable below
- 2 Jacks of Spades - 101x
- Pair of Jacks - 26x
- First card is a Jack - 11x
The game then continues into standard rules.
Add up your card values. Your goal is to reach as close to 21 as possible without going over, while beating the dealer's final total.

Step 4: Choose Your Action
For each hand, decide your next move:
Hit:
- Request an additional card to increase your hand total
- You can continue hitting up to 6 cards total per hand
- If your total exceeds 21, you bust and that hand is immediately lost
Stand:
- Keep your current hand as-is
- No more cards are drawn for that hand
- Play proceeds to the dealer's turn
Split (When Available):
- Available when your first 2 cards are a matching pair
- Splits the pair into 2 separate hands, each receiving a second card
- Each split hand requires an additional bet equal to your original
- Both hands are then played independently
Double Down (When Available):
- Available when your first 2 cards total 9, 10, or 11
- Doubles your original bet
- You receive exactly 1 additional card and must stand
- Higher risk but greater reward potential
Step 5: Dealer Reveals and Draws
Once all your hands have either stood or busted, the dealer flips over their face-down card and follows strict rules:
- Must draw cards until their hand total exceeds 17
- Must stand on 17 or higher
- If the dealer's total exceeds 21, the dealer busts
Step 6: Determine the Outcome
Each active hand is evaluated independently against the dealer:
Win conditions:
- Your hand total is closer to 21 than the dealer's without busting
- The dealer busts while your hand is still active (not bust)
- You are dealt a Blackjack (Ace + 10-value card on first 2 cards)
Loss conditions:
- Your hand total exceeds 21 (bust)
- The dealer's total is closer to 21 than yours
Push (Tie):
- Your hand and the dealer's hand are equal in value
- Your original bet is returned with no win or loss
Blackjack Payout
Being dealt a natural Blackjack (Ace + 10-value card) on your initial 2 cards is the best possible outcome and typically pays 3:2 on your bet—better than a standard win.
The default theoretical Return to Player (RTP) is 99.23% and the maximum multiplier is 101x
Below are the key features of Multihand Blackjack:
Rebet Mode: Quickly repeat your exact previous bet configuration by choosing “rebet” at the start of the round.
Play the Double: If your first 2 cards are a 9,10 or 11 you can double the bet and take 1 more card only.
Play Multihand: Get dealt a hand in up to 3 boxes on the table at once.
Bonus Bet: Place an outside bet for a chance at larger payoffs, aiming for jack pairs on the first dealt cards. The paytable is as below:
- 2 Jacks of Spades - 101x
- Pair of Jacks - 26x
- First card is a Jack - 11x

Multihand Blackjack Pro is a mobile friendly game, optimised for both iOS and Android devices.
Multihand Blackjack Pro is a second version of the original Multihand Blackjack game, however in this edition you can place bonus bets as a side bet to try for much larger payoffs. It has the same graphical design and sounds as the 1st version, keeping it calm and cool at the table which is nice. The animations stay smooth across both desktop and mobile versions, with the mobile version optimized nicely for landscape view. This is a great choice for players who are looking for something a little different and enjoy high risk sidebets on the felt. Try the demo game for yourself at the top of this review page.
“Are you a 1 blackjack fan? We have something interesting for you! Blackjack Pro is a variation of Blackjack with an increased payout ratio and one of the lowest house edges among casino games. The game originates from the set of rules used in Las Vegas casinos on the Strip back in the 1970s. It is played with 6 decks, each containing 52 cards. Players can make a bonus bet before any cards are dealt. If any of the cards is a Jack, the player can significantly multiply their bet winnings, regardless of the regular game’s outcome. Look out for a combination of Two Jacks of Spades, which grants a Bet multiplier of x101.” - BGaming
