Penalty Series by Evoplay runs across six stages per round — three attack phases and three defense phases, alternating throughout. Each stage is an independent event: in attack you choose where to shoot, and in defense you choose which direction to dive. Get it right and the multiplier climbs. Get it wrong and the round ends. The multiplier starts at 1.92x for the first successful stage and doubles with each consecutive success, reaching a maximum of 61.44x for clearing all six.

Step 1: Place Your Bet

Set your stake using the bet controls. The minimum bet is €1 and the maximum is €2,400 per round.

Step 2: Add Side Bets (Optional)

Before the round begins you can place one or more Side Bets in addition to your main bet. Side Bets are separate wagers that pay out based on specific outcomes across the round, independently of how the main bet resolves. A failed stage ends the main bet but does not affect Side Bets, which continue to pay if their conditions are met. The five available Side Bet options are:

• Combo Ticket — bet on all six stages being successful. Pays 96x your side bet.
• 3 Attacks — bet on all three attack stages being scored. Pays 96x.
• 3 Defenses — bet on all three defense stages being saved. Pays 96x.
• Any 4 — bet on any four of the six stages being successful. Pays 95.91x.‍
• Any 5 — bet on any five of the six stages being successful. Pays 96.03x.

Step 3: Play the Attack Phases

In an attack phase, three kick zones are displayed on the goal. Click the zone you want to aim for, or press the Random button to let the game choose. The goalkeeper — controlled by the RNG — either saves the shot or lets it in. Score and the multiplier advances to the next level. Miss and the round ends and your main bet is lost.

Step 4: Play the Defense Phases

In a defense phase, the roles reverse — you become the goalkeeper and must guess which direction the opponent's shot will go. Click the highlighted zone corresponding to your predicted save, or press Random. Make the save and the multiplier advances. Concede a goal and the round ends and your main bet is lost.

Step 5: Collect or Continue

After each successful stage you have a choice:

• Collect — take your current multiplier as an instant credit to your balance and end the round.
• Continue — face the next stage for a higher multiplier, knowing a wrong call ends everything.

The six multiplier stages, in order of consecutive successes, are: 1.92x, 3.84x, 7.68x, 15.36x, 30.72x, and 61.44x. Complete all six stages without a single miss or conceded goal and the maximum 61.44x multiplier is awarded automatically.

This is another penalty shootout style game from Evoplay, one of their original titles so nowadays it feels quite outdated. The gameplay and animations are quite slow and the max win is low, leaning us towards playing one of their other penalty shootout games.

The innovation here however is adding a parlay betting option into the base game, where stacking wagers for a larger payout is something unique at the time of release.
