How To Play Keno
Keno is a numbers game, where you pick up to 10 numbers from a board of 1 to 40. Each round draws 10 numbers, and the more of your picks that are drawn, the more you win. Read our step-by-step player guide below.
Step 1: Choose your bet value
Choose a bet value anywhere from $0.10 to $100. Use the − and + buttons to adjust your bet, halve or double it with ½ and 2x, type an amount directly, or pick one from the list.
Step 2: Pick your numbers
Pick anywhere from 1 to 10 numbers on the board, and tap a number again to unpick it. Press Auto Pick to have 10 random numbers picked for you in place of your own, or press Clear, beside PnL, to remove all your picks.
Step 3: Choose the risk
Choose Low, Medium or High risk. Higher risk pays more for the most hits, but pays less, or nothing, for only a few. The row under the board shows exactly what each number of hits pays for your risk and number of picks.
Step 4: Press Play
Pressing Play takes your bet and draws the 10 numbers one by one. Every drawn number that you picked is a hit, shown with an emerald. Once the draw is complete, your win is added to your balance based on how many hits you landed. Your picks, bet and risk can't be changed during a round.
Example: A $2.00 bet at Medium risk with 4 picks. Three hits pay ×9.8, winning $19.60.
Keno RTP and Win
The Return to Player (RTP) is 97.88% to 98.08%, depending on the risk and number of picks, and the maximum win is ×1,000 your bet.
Every draw is decided the moment you press Play, and the reveal simply shows it. Wins are rounded to the nearest cent.
To achieve the max win of ×1,000, you need to play with 9 or 10 picks and land enough of them in the draw. Check the row under the board to see which number of hits pays ×1,000 for your chosen risk.
Game Features
Below are the key features of Keno
- Picks and risk: Combine anywhere from 1 to 10 picks with Low, Medium or High risk. Low risk spreads smaller wins across more results, while High risk saves the biggest payouts for the most hits. The volatility of the game is completely in your hands.
- Auto Pick: Let the game pick 10 random numbers for you with one press.
- Live paytable: The row under the board always shows what each number of hits pays for your current risk and number of picks.
- Auto Play: Pick your numbers, then choose how many rounds to play, from 5 to 1,000 or infinite, and a speed. Every round plays the same picks, bet and risk. Slow and medium reveal each draw, while fast shows each result at once. Press Stop Auto at any time, and the round in play will still finish. Auto play also stops if your balance is lower than your bet.
- Fast mode: Press the lightning button at the top to reveal all 10 numbers at once instead of one by one.
- Provably Fair results: The Provably Fair settings show the seeds every draw comes from, so you can check that no draw was changed after you placed your bet.
- Round History: View your last 50 rounds. Select the details icon to see a round in full.
- Disable Animations: Turn off animations to see results instantly for faster play.
- Space To Bet: Press the Space bar to play a round without needing to click Play.
Mobile Compatibility
Keno is mobile friendly and requires no download on your mobile device, loading directly in most modern browsers. On desktop, turn on Space To Bet to play rounds straight from your keyboard.
Our Verdict
Keno brings the classic lottery-style numbers game into a quick, clean format. The minimal theme keeps the board easy to read, and watching the numbers drawn one by one, with every hit marked by an emerald, gives each round a nice bit of build-up.
What makes it easy to play well is the live paytable under the board. As you change your picks or risk, it shows exactly what every number of hits pays, so there's never any guesswork about what you're playing for. With the RTP sitting between 97.88% and 98.08% across every setup, you're free to play whichever style you enjoy.
The volatility is completely in your hands. A few picks at Low risk gives steady returns, while 9 or 10 picks at High risk saves everything for the big hits, with the ×1,000 max win at the top. Auto Pick and fast mode make it quick to jump in and play rounds back to back.
Auto Play is flexible, with up to 1,000 rounds or infinite play using the same picks every round. There are no profit or loss limits to stop auto play automatically, so keep an eye on your balance during longer sessions.
