The main aim of Chicken Revenge is to collect winning cash outs by taking risks one step at a time across a road full of enemy chicken characters. The further you progress along the road, the larger your cash out multiplier becomes. However, each step across the road runs the risk of being destroyed by an enemy chicken. You can cash out at any time, leaving it up to you to decide if you risk one more step, or cash out to play it safe. Below is a step-by-step guide to playing Chicken Revenge by Pixmove:

Step 1: Set your bet amount

Bets can be placed anywhere from $0.10 to $200. Use the “+” and “-” buttons next to the bet button to adjust your bet size. You can also see all bet sizes in the picker grid menu by tapping on the bet value at the bottom of the game page. Select a bet size to lock it in.

Step 2: Choose your difficulty mode

In Chicken Revenge there are 4 difficulty modes to choose from - Easy, Medium, Hard and Hardcore. The harder the difficulty, the more likely you are to die, but also the faster and higher the win multipliers increase with each consecutive safe step across the road. Below is a breakdown of each difficulty:

• Easy - 30 steps and max win 28.14x
• Medium - 27 steps and max win 2801.39x
• Hard - 22 steps and max win 62373.79x
• Hardcore - 18 steps and max win 3,685,851x

Choose your difficulty based on what level of risk you are willing to take relative to your bankroll. If you have a small bankroll, choosing Hardcore difficulty has a higher chance you will spend your whole balance before you get a solid win. Lower difficulties have a better chance of building up your balance over some consecutive smaller wins.

Step 3: Press play and take your first step

This is where the fun begins. The little red car character will move out onto the road, arriving in the first lane of the busy highway. After the car makes its first move, one of two possible outcomes will happen

• The car arrives safely. A bollard appears in front of it and it's safe from harm from the rampaging chickens.
• The car is destroyed. It's either burned, tramped, blown up or some other random event destroys it. You lose the round and start again.

In the event that you are safe, you will now see that you have unlocked the win multiplier that is indicated in the road lane and you now have the option to cash out your win.

Step 4: Cash out or push on

Now it’s where you make the important decision. Do you cash out your win, or do you risk another step? The game will continue in this pattern indefinitely, where you unlock bigger and bigger wins with each step, or you cash out, secure your winnings and start from the beginning again.

If you do continue and push on with more steps, you may eventually be lucky enough to reach the other side of the road. In this event, you unlock the maximum win for the difficulty you have chosen. Your balance will immediately update with your bet multiplied by the win multiplier at the last lane, and you will move back to the beginning ready to start a new round.

The art style and animations perfectly suit the theme and have a lot of human character to them.

Chicken Revenge offers 4 difficulty modes, each of them noticeably unique from one another. We played many rounds of each difficulty and the difference in volatility was very apparent across each option. Naturally there were a lot of smaller win opportunities when playing Easy mode, whereas Hardcore was a tough grind of immediate loss after loss with the occasional run of good luck to push into some big wins.

For anyone brave enough to consider it, there is a monster 3 million plus max win waiting at the end of hardcore, but the chances of cracking that egg are pretty slim!
