The goal of Chicken Crossy is simple - make your way across the road step by step unlocking bigger wins as you go. Cash out whenever you like, but get hit by a car when making a step and you lose the round! Reach the other side to claim the max win. Here’s a more in depth guide to play:

Step 1: Set your bet amount

Bets can be placed anywhere from $0.50 to $20. Open to bet size menu to see al available bet values, or use the “min” “max” and directional buttons to quickly change the size of your bets.

Step 2: Set the game difficulty mode

Chicken Crossy offers 4 difficulties, each with increased odds for each successful step across the road, but also increased probability of losing when taking a step. In short, the difficulty controls the volatility of the overall game.

• Easy mode - 24 steps and max win of 24x. Win chance per step 98% or less.
• Normal mode - 22 steps and max win of 2,208x. Win chance per step 88% or less.
• Hard mode - 20 steps and max win of 51,004.8x. Win chance per step 80% or less.
• Ace mode - 15 steps and max win of 3,138,009x. Win chance per step 60% or less.

Step 3: Press Start and begin the crossing

Press the green “Start” button to commit your bet. The round begins with the chicken standing on the side of the road waiting for you to press the “Go” button to make the first step. Once pressed, the chicken takes the first step into the road, where one of two events can happen:

• Arrive safely - You haven’t been hit with a car, and you unlock the win multiplier indicated on the star shaped plate on the road lane.
• You’re hit by a car - You lose, your bet is lost and you start again with a new bet.

Step 3: Cash out or keep crossing

With each successful step you make you then have 2 decisions - cash out your win total or risk another step:

• Cash out - Your winnings are immediately credited to your balance. Your win is your bet value multiplied by the coefficient indicated on the step you are on.
• Risk another step - Continue to cross the road, risking another step to unlock a bigger win or potential to get hit by a car, losing the round.

This pattern of gameplay repeats until you cash out, get squished by a car, or reach the max win at the other side of the road and claim the mighty croissant. If this happens, the max win is immediately credited to your balance and you restart the round from the beginning.

The animations, environment, the UI and buttons all have some uniform appeal to them that cements a specific “vibe” that is unlike any others. It's very lively, colorful and full of charm. Even when you’re hit by a car -  the way the chicken character gets smashed against the game screen like it's broken through your device is just great.

Additionally, the added features such as winning streaks, last loss, last record and record broken banners are excellent! Super engaging features that add even more personality into the game which seems to be overlooked by other competitors.
