Step 3: Press Play to take your first step

When you press the orange “Play” button, the mouse is going to step onto the first trap. 2 events can happen here:

• You eat the cheese, trap is not triggered - In this event, you unlock the win multiplier indicated on the mouse trap.
• You trigger the mouse trap and die - As your mouse is now dead, the round is over and your bet is lost. You start again from the beginning with a new bet.

In the event the cheese is eaten (winning step), you have 2 options:

We have to say, we’re very happy to see them enter the market without including a single chicken in the game - a major thumbs up from us! It’s been a chicken dominated genre for some time and a bit of 8bit mousy action is a welcome breath of fresh air.

The game follows the familiar road crossing pattern with variable difficulties, player cash out freedom and the constant uncertainty if you're going to win or lose with every single step. We tested easy mode through to hardcore mode, and can confirm with absolute confidence that hardcore is indeed, hardcore. Expect to die. A lot.

One thing that is uncertain to us however is the max win. In game, hardcore mode shows a max win over 2 million for reaching the 15th step, but their website and in game rules mention a 100,000x cap. Also, the rules mention something about a gamble feature which isn’t a feature at all in the game. You can't gamble your win. I think this is a copy paste error from another game.
