The aim of Minesweeper is quite simple. You reveal what's hiding behind tiles on a 5x5 grid one by one. For every tile that reveals a treasure chest, you unlock a larger win multiplier. You can cash out your winnings from the very first successful chest found, or push on to risk another pick to win more. However, if you reveal a single bomb, you lose the round. Step 1: Set your bet amount

Bets can be placed anywhere from $0.50 to $10. Choose your preferred bet size by clicking / tapping the casino chip icon at the bottom right of the game page. Choose any of the predetermined bet sizes to confirm.

Step 2: Pick how many bombs are hidden

You have the option to change how many bombs are hidden under the 5x5 grid. You can choose from either 1,2 or 3. The more bombs will create a more difficult but more rewarding game. See the paytable information below to see the progression of wins for each bomb configuration:

Step 3: Press start and reveal tiles

Once you press start your bet is locked in and you can begin clicking / tapping on tiles to reveal what’s hidden beneath. Every time you click a tile one of two events can happen:

• Treasure Chest revealed - You found a winning tile! Your win multiplier has increased and you can cash out if you want
• Bomb revealed - You lost the round. Your bet is gone and you must start again with a new bet.

The game continues in this pattern until you either cash out, or reveal all tiles successfully without finding any bombs. If you manage to do this, you claim the max win relative to the number of bombs you have hidden on the page. The more bombs, the bigger the max win!

The default theoretical Return to Player (RTP) is 96.0% and the maximum multiplier is 2,330x for 3 bombs.

Below are the key game features of Minesweeper by KingMidas:

• Volatility Control: By choosing either 1,2 or 3 bombs to hide under the grid, you control the volatility of the game. The less bombs, the lower the win progression and easier the game. The more bombs, the faster your win progression but more difficult the progress without uncovering a bomb
• Treasure Boost: There is a chance you will uncover a blue treasure chest. Blue chests add 1% extra to your win for each one you reveal, as they stack on top of each other. You can reveal up to 5 Treasure Boosts per round.
• Auto play: Use Auto Play to pre-select which tiles you want to reveal, along with the number of rounds you want to play. Once confirmed, you can sit back and enjoy watching the game play out by itself in front of you without needing to press any more buttons. You can cancel the autoplay at any time.
• Bet History: View your historical bet information to validate previous results. Click or tap any result to open a more detailed view with higher level information stored by the provider.

Minesweeper is developed on HTML5 and JavaScript, which means your game will run flawlessly on most modern mobile browsers. You don’t need to download anything, simply launch the game from your browser and start playing. This game however is tailored towards mobile players as the desktop version is still a portrait game view.

Minesweeper is a pretty well polished mobile-first mines game with a big emphasis on graphics and animations. KingMidas opted to give us less customization than we are used to with other mines games, as we can only play on the static 5x5 grid and the number of bombs is set to either 1,2 or 3. Interestingly however, the max win for the game is 2,330x even with only 3 bombs, which is a far quicker max win progression and potential that other mines games with the same 5x5 configuration.

This game does look great and it plays very nice as well. However there is one major drawback that we found difficult to overlook. This game is very slow. You have to wait for each animation to finish before making another action. Unfortunately the reveal animation for a chest (as pretty as it looks) is very slow, meaning rounds take a long time as we are always waiting before making another pick. If you are committed to claiming the max win, this will get tiresome real quick.

This also happens when playing on auto play. Auto play should at least have a turbo mode, or the game have a turbo mode built into the global settings so we can avoid the animation if we want to power through some rounds.

If this was implemented, this would be a really solid game. It's just hard to look past how slow it is, especially in today's day where attention is hard to keep.
