Step 1: Set Your Bet Amount

Enter your stake before the round begins. The bet amount applies to each round as a whole. Your final payout is your bet multiplied by the multiplier value displayed on the Cash Out button at the moment you choose to collect.

Step 2: Choose Your Grid Size

Select the size of the playing field. Gold Pick Legend offers three grid options:

• 5x5: 25 tiles in total. Smaller grid, fewer picks required to cover meaningful ground, lower mine count range
• 7x7: 49 tiles in total. Mid-size grid with more room to build a longer pick streak before risk escalates significantly
• 9x9: 81 tiles in total. Largest grid, the most tiles to pick through, widest mine count range, and the greatest potential for extended safe runs

Grid size and the Mine slider work together to define the character of each round. A small grid with many mines is extremely volatile. A large grid with few mines gives more room to accumulate picks before the risk becomes acute.

Step 3: Set the Number of Dynamites Using the Mine Slider

Before pressing Start, adjust the Mine slider to set how many dynamites are hidden on the grid. This is the most important decision in Gold Pick Legend:

• Fewer dynamites: Lower probability of hitting one on any given click, smaller multiplier growth per nugget, longer expected runs
• More dynamites: Higher probability of hitting one on any given click, larger multiplier growth per nugget, shorter expected runs

The minimum and maximum number of dynamites you can set depends on the grid size you have chosen. More dynamites means higher multipliers at every step of the Progress Meter, rewarding players who take on greater risk with larger payouts per nugget found. The Mine slider is locked once the round begins and cannot be adjusted mid-round. The max win is located on the 9x9 grid with 41 mines selected, uncovering 40 gold nuggets in a row to win the 39,446 max win. 

Step 4: Press Start and Begin Picking

Once your bet, grid size, and mine count are set, press Start. The grid activates with all tiles face down. Nuggets and dynamites are placed randomly across the grid by Stakelogic's certified RNG. No tile shows its contents until you click it.

Click any tile to reveal what is underneath:

• Gold nugget revealed: Your win multiplier increases, the Progress Meter advances by one segment, and your Cash Out value updates. You can now cash out or continue picking
• Dynamite revealed: The round ends immediately. Your bet is lost in full, regardless of how many nuggets you had previously uncovered. All remaining tiles are then revealed to show where every dynamite was hidden

Track Progress on the Meter

As you uncover nuggets, the Progress Meter above the grid lights up segment by segment. Each illuminated segment represents one successful pick and corresponds to a specific multiplier level. The further along the Progress Meter you are, the higher your current Cash Out multiplier. The Meter provides a clear visual cue of how many steps you have taken and how much the multiplier has grown, making it easy to see at a glance where you stand before deciding whether to continue or collect.

Step 5: Cash Out to Secure Your Winnings

At any point after revealing at least one nugget, press the Cash Out button to collect your winnings at the current multiplier. Your payout is:

Bet Amount x Current Multiplier = Winnings

The current Cash Out value is always displayed on the Cash Out button and updates in real time with every nugget you reveal. Once you cash out, the full grid is revealed and a new round can begin with the same or adjusted settings.

If you manage to reveal every nugget on the grid without hitting a dynamite, the cash out triggers automatically and you receive the maximum payout for that round's grid and mine configuration.

End of Round Tile Reveal

At the conclusion of every round, whether you cash out, hit a dynamite, or clear the grid, all remaining face-down tiles are flipped to reveal the full layout of nuggets and dynamites. This gives complete transparency on where the explosives were placed and how close or far they were from the tiles you chose.

Adjust Settings Between Rounds

Between rounds you can change your bet amount, switch to a different grid size, or adjust the Mine slider to a different dynamite count before starting again. You are not locked into the same configuration across consecutive rounds.

The Mine slider is your primary control over session variance. Keeping the dynamite count low on a large grid gives the most room to build a long streak before risk escalates. Keeping the dynamite count high on any grid gives faster multiplier growth per pick but a significantly shorter expected run before a dynamite appears.
