Candy Hole is very simple and quick to learn. Move the hole around the map, collecting candies which fall inside. Candies have multiplier values, which when collected add up to increase your win amount. Bigger candies have bigger multipliers, and your hole increases in size the more candies you absorb. Cash out to collect your win, but remember to cash out before you accidentally absorb a candy with a bomb! Below is a more in depth step-by-step guide to play Candy Hole.

Step 1: Set Your Bet

Adjust your desired stake using the + and – buttons. The minimum bet size is $0.10 and the max bet size is $150. You can also type directly into the bet value field to adjust the value.

Step 2: Press PLAY to start

Press the big yellow PLAY button to commit your wager and start the round. You can now move the hole on the ground to position it underneath candies. The more candy absorbed into the hole, the bigger the hole grows. Candies increase in size, so you need to grow the size of your hole to swallow bigger and bigger candies.

Step 3: Cash Out or Keep Absorbing

The goal at this stage is to cash out your win. This is where the game becomes risky, as any of the candies on the map may conceal a hidden bomb! If a bomb is absorbed into the hole, the hole explodes and immediately ends the round before you can cash out – your bet is lost when this happens.

If you decide to cash out, the total win amount is credited to your balance and you start back at the beginning ready to commit a new bet.

There’s a good chance you have played a mobile app game similar to Candy Hole before, which to us is quite clear where this inspiration is drawn from. Candy Hole takes the same concept of swallowing random objects (in this case sweet treats) down a hole to increase its size, allowing larger items to be consumed.

Overall this plays very well on both mobile and pc / desktop browsers. Personally I recon it’s nicer to play on pc with a mouse as you have greater visibility of the map, plus with the mobile your finger gets in the way of the visual. Could just be my fat fingers, who knows…

The game ramps up pretty quick as you swallow more and more candies, eventually unlocking the big boys like Waffles and Birthday Cake. The game gets real exciting when you unlock the Bonus Shield, which happens surprisingly often. Take advantage of the free pass to higher win multipliers with the guaranteed immunity from bombs.

One improvement we think would make this better is a simple bump on the max win multiplier. Of course, no one would frown at a ×500 win, but a potential ×5,000 would be better!
