Hercules: Sports Legend by Evoplay is built around a timing-based single-action mechanic. Place your bet, watch the ram slide down the ramp, click at the right moment to swing the club, and wait to see how far the ram travels. Distance determines payout - there is no collect button and no decision to make mid-round. The result is determined entirely by when you click and the RNG outcome.

Step 1: Place Your Bet

Step 2: Time Your Strike

Once the round begins, the ram slides down a ramp toward Hercules' club. Click at the optimal moment to swing the club and whack the ram. The timing of your click interacts with the game's mechanics to influence the trajectory, though the final distance is ultimately determined by the RNG. A well-timed strike sends the ram on a strong trajectory; a mistimed swing produces a shorter throw. However, your timing simply affects the visuals of the trajectory, the multiplier outcome is programmed into the RNG.

Step 3: Watch the Ram Fly

After the strike, the ram launches across the arena. Watch it arc through the air and travel across the field. The multiplier is determined by how far it travels before coming to a stop - the greater the distance, the higher the payout. Multipliers range from small returns for short throws up to a maximum of 1,000x for the most exceptional distances.

Step 4: Collect Your Win

When the ram comes to a stop, the multiplier for the distance achieved is applied to your bet and the result is instantly credited to your balance. The round then resets and you can place your next bet.

The Talaria Boost

At random during a round, Talaria - the legendary winged sandals - can activate mid-flight. When they do, the ram receives an additional supernatural boost, travelling farther than it would have from the strike alone and landing at a higher multiplier than the trajectory would otherwise have produced. The Talaria boost cannot be triggered on demand; it activates randomly and represents a welcome bonus to any round in progress.

Hercules: Sports Legend is a fun arcade style casino game set in a Greek mythological theme, you play as Hercules and your aim is to hit a ram with a bat and watch it fly across the screen, hopefully landing on a decent multiplier.

The animations are great for this game and the maximum multiplier is 1,000x. One issue with the game is the swing mechanic, sometimes we would tell the ram to jump, try to hit the ram at the right moment but the button didn’t register and we lost the bet. We tested what happens if you don’t swing -  you lose your bet. So make sure you hit the ram or you will lose your bet entirely, which seems contradictory because Evoplay states the hit chance is 100%.

Having autoplay for this game would have been a great choice because it is entertaining to watch. Setting a hundred rounds then kicking back for some idle background swings would be awesome!
