The aim of Falling Pickaxe is to break open premium blocks containing copper, gold, diamond, or emerald to increase your overall win multiplier. Your pickaxe will deplete durability with each strike on a block. By collecting special blocks to add boosted features, you can replenish durability, upgrade your pickaxe or blast your way through clusters of blocks in an instant for big wins. Here’s a detailed step-by-step gameplay guide:

Step 1: Set your bet value

Configure your bet value anywhere from $0.10 to $200. Bets value can be increased or decreased by using the “+” and “-” buttons, or by opening the full bet menu screen by selecting “bet” at the bottom of the game page.

Step 2: Spin the single reel slot

The game starts when you place a bet to spin the single reel slot. Each spin will land on one either a red cross, or one of the 4 Pickaxes.

If seven consecutive red cross symbols land on the reel, the eighth spin is guaranteed to result in any one of the four pickaxes and beginning the round.

Step 3: The Pickaxe drops!

This is where the action begins. Each of the four pickaxes come with varying durability. Breaking blocks consumes some durability, eventually depleting the pickaxe to 0 durability which will end the round. The list below explains the durability of each of the pickaxe:

• Wooden Pickaxe - 100 durability points
• Stone Pickaxe - 150 durability points
• Iron Pickaxe - 200 durability points
• Diamond Pickaxe - 400 durability points

Understanding the value of the blocks is important to know when big win opportunities are approaching. Each strike of a block reduces both the block's health by 1 point and the pickaxe durability by 1 point. See the list below detailing each block and its health and reward statistics.

• Dirt - 1HP. Awards no winnings.
• Stone - 1HP. Awards no winnings.
• Copper - 5HP. Awards ×0.01 of the bet.
• Redstone - 10HP. Awards ×0.05 of the bet.
• Gold - 15HP. Awards ×0.2 of the bet.
• Diamond - 20HP. Awards ×1 of the bet.
• Emerald - 30HP. Awards ×5 of the bet.

The pickaxe will bust its way down through the stack of blocks, collecting win multipliers as it progresses. It's possible that along the way the pickaxe can break open special blocks with boosted enhancements, elevating the potential for wins or prolonging the game. The list below explains each special block type and its effect.

• TNT - Explodes when struck. Destroys all blocks within its near vicinity.
• Upgrade Arrow - Temporarily increases the pickaxes size by ×1.5 for 3 seconds, increasing the mining path width. Collecting another upgrade arrow while the first is active will increase its size to ×2 the original. Another consecutive upgrade arrow increases it once more to ×2.5 the original.
• Workbench - Fully replenishes the pickaxe durability, and upgrades the next tier (Wooden, Stone, Iron or Diamond). If the pickaxe is already at Diamond tier, it simply gets its durability replenished to full.

Eventually, the pickaxe will have its durability completely depleted. This event will end the round, and your collective total multiplier of all blocks destroyed will be your win amount. This is immediately credited to your balance.

The default theoretical Return to Player (RTP) is 95.0% and the maximum multiplier is ×160.

Below are the key game features of Falling Pickaxe:

• Single Reel Slot: This determines the round start. Either you land one of the four pickaxes and it drops down to start the game, or you land a red cross and immediately lose the bet. 7 consecutive red cross symbols will guarantee the eighth spin will land any of the four pickaxe symbols
• Pickaxe Variations: There are four pickaxes - Wooden, Stone, Iron and Diamond. Each pickaxe has a different durability value.

• Game Animation Speed: There are three animation speed modes to pick from. Change the game speed by pressing the button from the main game page. The speed of the game animation has no effect on the RTP or outcome of the round
• Bonus Buy: Pay a premium price to guarantee that you start the round with one of the four pickaxes. The higher the tier of pickaxe you select in the Bonus Buy menu, the higher the premium bet price you pay.

Maybe we’re a bit biased because we’re long time fans of Minecraft to begin with, but there really is something quite special about this game.
