Vault Express is a ride-along multiplier game where you set your bet, start the train and watch its route play out. Every round starts at ×1, and the items the train picks up along the track change the multiplier as it goes. If the train arrives at the bank, you win your bet multiplied by the final multiplier. If it runs into a dead end, the round is lost. Read our step-by-step player guide below.
Step 1: Choose your bet value
Choose a bet value anywhere from $0.10 to $100. Before starting, you can also pick a game speed of ×1, ×2 or ×4 using the speed button. Speed only changes the animation and has no effect on the round result.
Step 2: Press START and watch the route
Press the start button to place your bet and send the train off. The multiplier starts at ×1, and three types of items on the track change it:
- Coins (+N): add their value to your multiplier, so a +2 coin takes ×1 to ×3
- Gold ingots (×N): multiply your current multiplier by their value
- Dynamite (½): halves your current multiplier, rounded down to one decimal
The order matters. Collecting a +2 coin and then a ×2 ingot takes you from ×1 to ×6, while the same items in the reverse order only reach ×4.
The result of the round is decided the moment it starts. There is no cash out button, so the win can't be collected early, and the train always runs to the end of its route.
Step 3: Reach the bank or hit a dead end
Every round finishes in one of two ways. If the train reaches the bank, you win your bet multiplied by the current multiplier. If the train hits a dead end, the bet is lost.
Keep in mind that dynamite can pull your multiplier below ×1. A train that reaches the bank in that state still pays out, but you will collect less than your original bet. The smallest possible win is ×0.3 your bet.
The Return to Player (RTP) is 96.0% and the maximum win is ×1,000 your bet.
The RTP in Green Light mode is slightly higher at 96.22%. The minimum win on a round that reaches the bank is ×0.3 your bet.
Below are the key features of Vault Express
- Shield: A booster that makes dynamite harmless for the rest of the round, so your multiplier can only go up from that point.
- Afterburner: A booster that sends the train straight ahead at top speed for a short time. Dynamite has no effect while the Afterburner is active.
- Magnet: A one-time booster that pulls the nearest coins and ingots onto the train.
- Green Light: A feature buy that guarantees the train reaches the bank. It is activated before the round starts and costs 50× your bet. The win in this mode is between ×5 and ×1,000 your base bet, calculated on the base bet rather than the feature price.
- Autoplay: Runs rounds one after another at your current bet. Press the autoplay button again to stop.
- Game speed: Switch between ×1, ×2 and ×4 animation speed. Speed has no effect on the round result.
- Bet history: View your recent rounds with the bet, multiplier and win for each, and click any bet to see the round details.
Vault Express is completely mobile friendly, and is optimised for portrait mode gameplay. It requires no download on your mobile device, loading directly in most modern browsers.
Vault Express follows the format made popular by games like Aviamasters, where you place a bet, watch the vehicle collect modifiers along its route, and find out at the end whether it lands safely. Here the plane is a steam train, the carrier is a bank vault, and the ocean is a dead end on the tracks.
The coin and ingot split is what makes each run interesting to watch. Coins add and ingots multiply, so a coin picked up early gets boosted by every ingot after it, and a run can swing a long way depending on the order the items arrive in. Dynamite is the counterweight, halving the multiplier each time it's hit.
The boosters give the route a few extra moments to look out for. The Shield and Afterburner both protect against dynamite, and the Magnet pulls in nearby coins and ingots, so landing one early in a run can change the outcome.
Green Light is the feature to understand before buying. It removes the dead end risk entirely, but at 50× your bet for a return of ×5 to ×1,000 your base bet, a Green Light round can still pay back less than it cost. With no stop limits on autoplay, Vault Express is a game to play with a set budget, and the ×1,000 max win gives every run a clear target.
