Bust and Win is a candy-themed mines game by Mancala Gaming set in a sun-drenched desert landscape. The concept is straightforward: you choose your grid size and how many mines are hidden on it, then click tiles one at a time to reveal candies and grow your winnings. Every candy you uncover increases your payout. Every mine ends the round instantly and your bet is lost. You decide when to stop clicking and cash out. A Turbo Mode lets you pre-select a tile pattern and reveal everything at once for faster, single-click rounds. Here's how it works:

Step 1: Enter Your Bet Amount
Type your stake into the Bet Amount field. The minimum and maximum bet limits are viewable in the settings menu before you start. Choose an amount that reflects the grid size and mine count you plan to use, since more mines means higher variance per tile click.
Step 2: Choose Your Grid Size
Select the size of the playing field. A larger grid contains more tiles, which means more potential candy reveals before a mine is hit, but also more tiles hiding mines depending on your chosen mine count. Grid size and mine count work together to shape the risk profile of every round. The smallest grid size is 3x3 while the largest grid size is 9x9.
Step 3: Choose Your Number of Mines
Select how many mines are hidden on the grid. This is the most important decision in Bust and Win:
- Fewer mines: Lower probability of hitting a mine on any given tile, smaller multiplier per candy revealed, slower multiplier growth
- More mines: Higher probability of hitting a mine on any given tile, larger multiplier per candy revealed, faster multiplier growth
The more mines you include, the higher the winning multiplier climbs with each safe tile, but the shorter the expected run before a mine is encountered. Mine count and grid size are both set before pressing Start Game and cannot be changed once the round begins. The lowest amount of mines you can have on any grid is a minimum of 1, while the maximum amount of mines you can have on a grid depends on the size of the grid, on a 9x9 grid you can have a maximum of 80 mines.
Cancel Before Opening Tiles
If you have pressed Start Game but have not yet clicked any tiles, you can press the Cancel button to void the round and return your bet to your balance. Once the first tile has been opened, the Cancel option is no longer available and the round must be played out or cashed out.
Turbo Mode
Activate Turbo Mode using the Turbo toggle for a faster, pattern-based play style. In Turbo Mode:
- You select your grid size and a pre-defined tile pattern before placing your bet
- Press Place Bet and all tiles in your selected pattern are revealed simultaneously in a single action
- The round resolves instantly, showing whether your pattern produced candies, hit a mine, or cleared successfully
- Turbo Mode removes the one-tile-at-a-time mechanic entirely and replaces it with a single committed reveal across your chosen pattern
Turbo Mode does not change the odds, mine placement logic, or multiplier structure. It is a pace and playstyle option for players who prefer instant results over step-by-step reveals.

Step 4: Press Start Game
Once your bet, grid size, and mine count are confirmed, press the Start Game button. The grid activates and all tiles are face down. Candies and mines are placed randomly across the grid by Mancala Gaming's certified RNG. No tile reveals its contents until you click it.
Step 5: Click Tiles to Reveal Candies or Mines
Click any tile on the grid to reveal what is underneath:
- Candy revealed: Your winning amount increases. The multiplier grows with each candy uncovered. You can now cash out or continue clicking
- Mine revealed: The round ends immediately. Your entire bet for that round is lost, regardless of how many candies you had already uncovered
Each click after the first is a live decision between collecting your current winnings or pushing further for a higher payout.
Step 6: Cash Out to Secure Your Winnings
At any point after revealing at least one candy, press the Cash Out button to collect your accumulated winnings. Your payout is:
Bet Amount x Current Multiplier = Winnings
Once you cash out the round ends, the full grid is revealed showing the positions of all candies and mines, and you can set up a new round. If you manage to reveal every candy on the grid without hitting a mine, the cash out triggers automatically and you collect the maximum payout for that configuration.
Settings and Betting History
Access the settings menu by pressing the gear icon in the top right corner. From settings you can:
- Change your in-game nickname
- View the minimum bet, maximum bet, and maximum profit limits for the game
- Toggle game sounds on or off
- Review your full betting history, including previous round results, bet amounts, and payouts
The default theoretical Return to Player (RTP) is 95.0% and the maximum multiplier is 4,950,000x.
Below are the key features of Bust and Win by Mancala Gaming:
- Selectable Grid Size: Players choose the dimensions of the playing field before each round. Larger grids provide more tiles to uncover and more potential candy reveals before mine risk escalates, while working in combination with the chosen mine count to define the overall risk profile.
- Selectable Mine Count: Players choose how many mines are hidden on the grid before starting. Fewer mines produce smaller multipliers per candy but lower round-to-round variance. More mines produce larger multipliers per candy but significantly higher crash probability per click. The mine count is the primary risk control in the game.
- Turbo Mode: A pattern-based rapid play mode where players select a tile pattern and reveal all selected tiles simultaneously with a single bet placement. Resolves instantly without the step-by-step reveal mechanic of standard play. Grid size, mine count, and multiplier structure remain identical in Turbo Mode.
- Maximum Win of 4,950,000x Bet: Confirmed on the official Mancala Gaming game page as the theoretical maximum multiplier, achievable through a high mine count configuration with a full grid clear.
- Mobile Optimised: Built in HTML5 and fully playable on mobile, desktop, and tablet across all major screen sizes and browsers. The tile-click interface adapts naturally to touchscreen play.
- Multilingual Support: Available in 20 languages including English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and others.
