Players first choose how many boulders they want to have randomly fall for each set of stairs they climb. The more boulders, the more difficult as it's more likely the caveman will get squished.
Once the number of boulders is determined, players can set the value of their bet and begin to play. There are several positions in which the player can climb up to the next level. The player can either click on the position or choose a random position with the ‘Auto Pick’ button.
If the player is successful, the caveman will climb to the next level without being squished by a boulder. They may then either cash out or continue climbing up. If the player gets squashed by a boulder, the round ends with any winnings being removed.
Players achieve the maximum win for each difficulty by reaching the top of the tower. If they do so, the round immediately ends with the winnings being added to the players balance.
