Multiplayer Mines brings a social dimension to the mines format by displaying all players' tile selections in a shared lobby. Watching others' choices creates a community experience where you can see winning strategies unfold in real-time, though ultimately each player's fate depends on their own selections. The fixed 3-mine setup and tiered gem system with multiplier bonuses add unique twists to the classic formula. Here's how it works:

Step 1: Set Your Bet Amount

Choose your bet value anywhere from $0.10 to $100.

Step 2: Pre-Select Your Tiles

Before the round starts, select which tiles you want to reveal on the game grid. You can choose anywhere from 1 to 22 tiles.

Important: There are always 3 mines hidden on the grid. This number is fixed and cannot be configured.

Risk-reward scaling:

• 1 selected tile: 1.08x multiplier (safest, lowest reward)
• 22 selected tiles: 1,680x max win (riskiest, highest reward)

The more tiles you select, the higher your potential multiplier - but also the greater your chance of hitting one of the 3 mines.

Step 3: Place Your Bet

Once you've finished selecting your tiles, place your bet before the next round begins.

As you wait for the round to start, you can see the tile selections of other players in the lobby, creating a shared experience and letting you observe different strategies in action.

When the round begins, your selected tiles are revealed simultaneously. Each tile contains one of four possibilities:

• Blue gem: A safe tile that counts as a win with standard multiplier
• Green gem: A safe tile that awards +1% multiplier bonus
• Gold gem: A safe tile that awards +25% multiplier bonus
• Mine: Ends the round, losing your bet

Step 4: Win or Lose

• If all your selected tiles are safe (gems): You win your bet multiplied by the base multiplier for the number of tiles selected, plus any bonus multipliers from Green and Gold gems‍
• If any selected tile contains a mine: You lose your bet immediately

The default theoretical Return to Player (RTP) is 96% and the maximum multiplier is 1,680x.
